In case you want a change besides the city, then the nearby situated Elbsandstein mountain range comes highly recommended. There you will find wonderful hiking tracks and good mountain sports facilities. In the wide area, the fortress in Pirna-Zuschendorf, the hortus botanicus in Tharandt and the city Seiffen are worth visiting.
