General information Belgium

Flanders has everything you could wish for. Fine, wide sandy beaches and seaside resorts where it is always very pleasant. The tranquillity of this beautiful, impressive polder landscape. Characteristic villages and cultural cities. Colourful market squares and typical 'belford's'. You will find charming terraces and restaurants everywhere, where you can enjoy delicious meals, real Belgium chips or the special Belgium beers.

This flatland is also a great starting point for beautiful cycling tours.A discovery trip through magnificent culture and nature fields where medieval cultures live on in a rich folklore and the Flemish hospitality is at its best. A great mixture of culture and enjoyment. An unknown, exciting area where people of all ages will have a wonderful time in any one of the beautiful nature reserves, open air museums or recreational areas. Everything you need is available for a great all-round holiday. For relaxation and activity. Certainly a holiday where a great time is guaranteed.

The Arden, divided into the regions of Luik, Namen and Luxembourg, is an excellent destination for relaxation and adventure. As far as activities go there is plenty to do, long walks, mountain biking, kayaking, horse riding, speleologie, rock climbing, abseiling and, in the winter, langlaufen. You could always challenge yourself with a 'survival' circuit.

Enjoy the nature and varied countryside: extensive pastures, woodland, hills, valleys, rivers and extensive rock faces. Taste the history by visiting one of the strongholds, castles or abbeys. Take a peek inside a church in one of the charming old villages or visit one of the caves. Connoisseurs will really enjoy the many restaurants. In short: treat yourself to a relaxing or sporting holiday in the country!
